Peter Ryan, Chief Executive

Peter RyanPeter, a serial entrepreneur, is driving the strategy and growth plan at iJento and has extensive experience of leading fast growth, venture backed technology companies.

Peter was formerly Chairman and CEO of InnaPhase Corporation, a company he founded in 1997 and subsequently built into the world’s largest provider of laboratory information management systems. In September 2004, Peter orchestrated the sale of InnaPhase to Thermo Electron Corporation (NYSE:TMO) in one of the largest industry deals in the laboratory technology sector.

Since the sale of his venture backed company in 2004, and prior to joining iJento, Peter divided his time between private technology investments and non-executive board positions. He has also spent many years as an executive within the contract research and pharmaceutical technology industries.

Peter was a 2003-2004 Entrepreneur in Residence at the Wharton School of Business, awarded 2002 Best CEO Under Age 40 by the US Eastern Technology Council and named as a winner of the 2002 Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Awards, honoring his commitment to professional excellence and community involvement. He led InnaPhase to third fastest growing technology company, ranked by the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 and to second place in the Wharton School of Business and Philadelphia Business Journal’s 100 fastest growing companies. Peter was a finalist in Greater Philadelphia's 2001 and 2002 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the Software and Technology Services Category and a finalist in the 2001 Eastern Technology Council’s Startup Company of the Year Category.

Peter graduated in Computer Science and Business Administration from Brighton Polytechnic, England.

 

Dr John Woods, Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Dr John WoodsJohn is the founder of iJento and serves as our Chief Technology Officer. John’s technical vision and software development lie at the heart of the iJento Datamart and iJento Intelligence tools. John founded the Company in 2000 as a web analytics specialist called Site Intelligence where his team developed the core technology platform that has now been extended for multichannel customer intelligence. Today, John continues to provide us with highly valuable insights, strategic thinking and a healthy dose of challenge to strengthen our R&D teams.

John is a serial technology entrepreneur and, at the age of 14, started his first software business developing games for the ZX81. He specializes in the web analytics, business intelligence and market research sectors and has led two companies through multiple rounds of angel and venture capital funding. Earlier in his career, John was Director of Product Management for Oxford Molecular, which is where he met our four co-founders. Throughout his career, John has been very hands on with software development and wrote software as part of his academic research into astrophysics.

John has a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics both from Jesus College, Oxford University in England. He also has an MBA from Open University Business School.

 

Kay Sangha, Chief Financial Officer

Kay SanghaKay has global responsibility for all financial, investor relations, HR and legal functions at iJento and ensures that we are financed and well managed to achieve our growth targets and other business goals.

Kay brings a wealth experience from several senior executive financial management roles at multinational public companies, and has also been instrumental to growing start up ventures into highly regarded, market leaders. Prior to joining iJento, she was most recently the global CFO at ShipServ Inc, the leading technology player in the maritime e-marketplace. She also held financial executive roles at Go Industry Plc, including being MD and CFO of Measure Specialties Control System Division, a £100 million revenue business at the time. She has also worked at Parker Hannifin, Courtaulds Plc, Cray Communications, Microsoft, Softbrands, TRW and Lucas.

Kay combines a clear strategic headwith the tenacity and leadership to drive strategy through to delivery. She has worked on three AIM listings, raised in excess of $50M funding and is an IFRS Expert and SOX consultant.

 

Barry Parshall, Senior Vice President Product Management


Barry ParshallBarry is leading iJento’s product strategy and driving the company’s new product developments. At the heart of iJento is Barry’s vision for designing and expanding a portfolio of leading solutions that address multichannel challenges and offer solutions that take customer intelligence to the next level.

Barry has over 25 years experience in the business intelligence, digital marketing, web analytics and data warehouse industries. He comes to iJento from Adobe, where he worked extensively on the development of their flagship Omniture solutions. Prior to this, Barry served as Vice President of Product Strategy and Director of Product Management at Webtrends for 8 years, led the Crystal Reports family of products for Crystal Services, (now part of the Business Objects unit of SAP) and held various senior roles at Micro Data Base Systems.

Barry has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Computer Science from Purdue University in the USA.

 

Mike Simmonds, Vice President Consulting, EMEA

Mike Simmonds

Mike leads iJento Consulting in the EMEA region, creating strategies and optimizing the performance of multichannel customer intelligence for our clients. He brings deep insights and expertise around offline and multichannel data processing, analytics and marketing and has a highly commercial approach. This ensures that every client project is focused around return on investment and improving bottom line results.

Mike has over 18 years consulting experience around marketing, analytics/segmentation, data processing, call center IT, telemarketing and campaign planning. He comes to iJento from AEGON Direct Marketing Services where he was responsible for maximising marketing performance, via the best use of data, analytics and segmentation across Europe, for both the company and its clients. Mike has consulted to and partnered with many large, data driven organizations including American Express, AXA, Barclaycard, CIGNA, Citibank, MBNA, MetLife, npower and Yum! (KFC, Pizza Hut).

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Management Science from the University of Warwick in England.

 

Viki Lander, Chief Marketing Officer

Viki LanderViki is spearheading the launch of iJento and directing its PR, analyst relations, marketing and communications programs to support the company’s business strategy and sales growth.

Viki is a highly commercial marketing professional with over 16 years experience of delivering international marketing programs for SMEs and large corporates in the technology sector. Prior to iJento she ran her own technology marketing agency Hypa Creative for 10 years, where her team consistently delivered campaigns that generated millions in revenue for its clients, including: Anixter, Avaya, Borland, BT, Epson, HP, Infogroup, Nokia and ORACLE. Before Hypa, Viki ran the integrated marketing division of top 10 hi-tech PR & marketing firm Keene Communications, where she led the launch of several new IT products and services including the world’s first ever portable MP3 player – the Diamond Rio, which paved the way for the iPod.

Viki has an excellent track record for delivering significant results in very short timescales and has achieved multiple industry awards.

 

Ian Hayes, Vice President of Product Engineering

Ian HayesIan and his teams are developing, testing and evolving the core products that deliver on the iJento product strategy.

Ian has over 20 years experience in consulting and technical IT roles within technology businesses and financial services corporations. He has specialized in software product development, principally in the business intelligence sector and has held senior R&D management roles for companies including IQ Software, DART, Computer Associates and smartFOCUS. In the ‘90s he co-founded an OLAP software product business and prior to that he worked in the oil exploration sector and spent a fair amount of time moving between oil rigs in the North Sea.

Over his career Ian has been recognized as a domain expert in software project methods and risk management techniques and has managed cross-functional teams spread across the USA, Europe and India. Use of contemporary agile project techniques and sound quality management principles are at the heart of Ian’s approach to establishing a highly productive and innovative R&D team.
